We are looking for two types of people.
Space Technology. Semiconductors. Artificial Intelligence. Robotics. Advanced Manufacturing. Defense & Autonomous Systems. Specialty Chemicals. Advanced Materials.
You have 15 or more years of deep operating experience in one of these sectors. People in your industry take your calls.
You have built products, led organizations, run operations, commercialized technologies, developed markets, or closed transformative transactions. You have technical credibility, commercial judgment, and relationships that cannot be replicated.
You understand your industry inside and out. Not from advising it. From building within it. You have lived it. You carry the judgment, the scars, the credibility, and the network that only years inside an industry can create.
You bring technical depth and business development capability in equal measure. You know the customers, suppliers, partners, regulators, and decision-makers who shape your sector.
Critical: You are comfortable operating in high-performance environments alongside professionals from private equity, venture capital, investment banking, Big Law, and management consulting. You understand the responsiveness, urgency, accountability, and standards of excellence these environments demand. You are proactive, highly responsive, and execution-oriented. You anticipate issues before they arise, communicate clearly, and consistently move initiatives from discussion to completion.
You do not wait to be told what to do. You identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive outcomes.
Most importantly, you are ready to apply your expertise to building something of your own.
You have spent 10 or more years at an elite institution. Private equity, venture capital, investment banking, Big Law, management consulting or a similarly rigorous environment.
You have already received the training. You do not need handholding.
You can walk into a complex situation, quickly identify what matters, exercise sound judgment, and execute with limited supervision. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, and solving problems that have no predefined answers.
You can review a two-page memorandum, surface the critical issues in minutes, and drive toward resolution. You are comfortable coordinating investment bankers, government officials, accountants, consultants, and legal counsel across jurisdictions, managing complex transactions and negotiating against world-class counterparties.
Your written communication and email etiquette is impeccable. Your judgment is sound. Your follow-through is total.
You are commercially minded, intellectually honest, highly responsive, and relentlessly accountable. You build trust with founders, executives, investors, government officials, lenders, and industry leaders. You know how to align stakeholders and get things done.
You bring energy to the team, not drama. You leave your ego at the door, focus on the objective, and execute at a consistently high level.
Experience in New York, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, London, or similarly demanding markets is strongly preferred.
